Membership is required to use/consult the online registry of the Norsk Kennel Club. Searches must be done using the dog’s registered name. The NKK does not currently display health information related to individual dogs.

Hip and elbow X-rays are evaluated and scored by the NKK.

There is no separate IWS breed club as the population is very small, but IWS are under the auspices of the Norsk Spaniel Klubb.
